On Saturday, May 30, 2026, Umu Igbo Unite Wisconsin will host its second annual Biafra Remembrance Day at The Black Business Hub, 2352 South Park Street, Madison from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This year’s theme, Through Women’s Eyes and Experiences, centers the voices of women who survived the Biafran/Nigerian Civil War (1967-1970), creating space for intergenerational dialogue, storytelling, and community connection. The event is free and open to the public.
