In August, I embarked on an exciting and challenging journey by starting medical school at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. This step represents the culmination of years of preparation, dedication, and a deep-seated passion for medicine. The curriculum, faculty, and collaborative environment at the University of Wisconsin have already begun enhancing my understanding of the healthcare system, and I am eager to continue learning from this rich academic and clinical setting.

Currently, my primary interest lies in pediatric oncology. The idea of working with children facing cancer and being part of their treatment and recovery processes resonates deeply with me. I am drawn to the complexities of oncology, as well as the resilience and hope that defines pediatric care. Through my studies and eventual clinical experiences, I hope to gain a deeper understanding of how to blend cutting-edge treatments with compassionate, family-centered care to make a positive impact in the lives of young patients and their families.

As I move forward in my medical education, I am excited to explore this field further while remaining open to other specialties that may capture my interest along the way.
