Great Food, Camaraderie and networking
The Kappa Psi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority raise money for scholarships for young people during its 26th Annual Men Who Cook. Crowds packed Kromrey Elementary School cafeteria to sample tasty entrees, side dishes and desserts created by talented men from across Dane County.
This year’s event, held March 7, was themed “Where Passion Meets Purpose.” The Kappa Psi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha has provided over $60,000 in college scholarships to deserving students over the past 25 years.
In 1994, the first event Men Who Cook event was held at Lincoln Elementary School on Madison’s south side and had about 50 attendees. Attendance has grown in the hundreds.
