As the nation wrestles with institutional racism and attempts to heal from the killing of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Elijah McClain, Rayshard Brooks, and countless others, many ask “what can I do to help?”
While tens of thousands have marched in the streets, not everyone has the ability to participate in such a physically demanding and time-consuming way, especially with the coronavirus still posing a threat.
For some, the best way for them to support is through donating money to organizations taking action. There are countless policy-reform organizations, victim memorial funds, enrichment groups and funds to help pay the bail or bond to release protestors jailed in the United States. And, you can support Black-owned businesses.
