Last summer, I began my tenure as the vice president for equity, inclusion, and community relations.
According to University of Wisconsin-Madison alumnus Winslow Sargeant, PhD (1995), these are the most exciting times to be alive. 
On Mother’s Day, we honor the mothers in our lives for the love and dedication that they give to their families.
The second Sunday in May is Mother’s Day in the US. This tradition dates to the 19th century and is linked to Ann Reeves Jarvis who helped start “Mothers’ Day Work Clubs” to teach local women to properly care for their children.
